Roman’s hands-on knowledge of commercial construction, combined with a sharp design sensibility, adds tremendous depth to Tengri Architecture’s team. Throughout his career, he has led successful projects across multi-family residential, commercial, industrial, retail, and community sectors — always driven by a passion for creating spaces that are functional, enduring, and inspiring. With over two decades of international experience, Carlos Ponce has been shaping the Okanagan’s architectural landscape since 2013.
Before co-founding Tengri Architecture, he led design and project management teams across Spain, India, and Canada, and held senior roles in several leading Kelowna firms.
Blending creative design expertise with a deep understanding of development and construction standards, he approaches every project with a holistic perspective, always focused on exceeding client and stakeholder expectations.
Away from his drawing board, Carlos and his dog Rio share a passion for upland bird hunting — a tradition that keeps him connected to nature and the values of patience and craftsmanship.
Jenna Marshall | Associate | Architect AIBC
With a strong background in design, model making, and urban planning, Jenna Marshall brings creativity, precision, and a client-focused approach to every project. She is passionate about helping clients bring their vision to life, drawing inspiration from early experiences at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater studio.
Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Design (Honors) and a Master’s in Architecture, and with valuable experience as a former planner with the City of Kelowna, Jenna understands how to bridge design ambition with practical delivery. At Tengri Architecture, she has contributed to a wide range of single-family, townhome, multi-family, and mixed-use residential projects — guiding each one from early concepts through to detailed construction documentation. Her commitment is to create thoughtful, functional, and inspiring spaces that reflect each client's needs and aspirations.
Aidan Wong | Technologist
Aidan is an experienced Technologist with over ten years of professional experience in architectural design and documentation. He holds a Diploma in Architectural Technology from SAIT (2016) and previously completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Alberta University of Arts. Aidan has worked on a wide range of project types including custom residential, multi-family residential, commercial developments, and tenant improvements, with strong familiarity with projects throughout the Okanagan region. Aidan has contributed to several notable projects that have helped shape the local architectural landscape, including landmark designs such as the Soulathletix building on Bernard Avenue.
